The Art and Science of Travelling

by vix

There are as many ways of travelling as there are people. Some people are hotel and first class travellers, others like to travel with no plans and only a pack. I’ve been fortunate to experience both of these kinds of travel as well as business travel (not as much fun as it looks!), and the catching up with the family Down Under travel. Here are some of my observations about travellers and the travel industry.

How to Become a Curly Wurly Wotsit – the joys of jet lag and the tricks you need to know when you’re travelling uber long-haul to New Zealand or Australia.

The Couple that travels together stays together – I’ve travelled a great deal on my own and oh how I love it. I once travelled around Asia and Australia solo for over a year. I was only 5 2 and my pack weighed more than I did, but it was a wonderful journey into what makes me. Travelling alone is liberating but oh how wonderful it is to travel with your soul mate.

A Guide to Traveller Modernicus A funny post about the different types of traveller you see around the tourist traps. Do you recognise yourself in any of these caricatures?

The Incredible Journey – Humans aren’t the only globetrotters in this fast paced world of ours, pets can be too. Our beautiful pets travelled all the way from NZ to England in September 2008. This post talks about how easy it is to ‘ship’ your pets with you when you emigrate.
