The MADs

Well despite my misgivings about the process of judging blogs in the UK blogging competition – The Mads – I have been nominated for almost all of the categories so far. I don’t qualify for ‘best baby blog’ because I’m missing the vital ingredient (the nappies!), and mine is not a photography blog, mainly because I don’t have a decent camera!

Here are all the categories I’ve been nominated in so far:

  3. Best Looking MAD Blog (not best looking blogger but them’s the breaks!)
  4. Best New MAD Blog
  5. Funniest MAD Blog
  6. Best Mad Blog Writer

    Aww – if there was best looking blogger, I'd vote for you! (If my husband hadn't squandered my vote by voting for me, therefore using up my chance to vote for my favourites, mutter mutter grumble).

    Ooh, I never thought I'd see the day when someone was inspired to run by me, the ultimate couch potato. And if it helps, I've done nothing for the last two days and tomorrow's not looking hopeful as I'm intending to have a monster hangover (out with girlfriends for a meal tonight!).

    You are inspirational! Your writing is fab, and you actually get on and do stuff, unlike me – I've been sitting about like a blob all day eating chocolate. Oink.

    Ooh, I'm going to have such fun doing my voting when I nip over to my mum's house later this week. I'm guessing the MADs only allow one vote per IP address, so I'm going to use hers for mine.

    That's Rachael that's really nice of you.. though I do have a bone to pick with you. Every time I see your chirpy face online or on Twitter, I feel I have to run. I was doing ok curbing the urge to go for my run today. The excuses were working (too busy, too tired, too cold out there!) until I saw your face and ruminated on your phenominal marathon efforts and now, well I feel a bit slack. So I've got it in my dairy – Run @ 1700
