I started this blog in October 2009, and since then I’ve been thrilled to have received so many wonderful words of encouragement.

First up was the very exciting receipt of the British Mummy Bloggers’ Award for Mummy Blogger of the Week  in November 2009

The came the lovely cheer-up of The Sunshine Award in the gloomy winter of 2010 given to me by

the lovely yummymummy1 and TheMoiderer

for this post – Girl Guide in Paris

I was delighted to be feted in The Sunday Times article about ‘mummy blogging’ in

February 2010, along with my other fabulous bloggers, for Mad Manic Mamas where

I also write occasionally (usually when I write something I don’t want the teens to read!)

Mad Manic Mamas was listed as the number six parenting blog in the UK by The Sunday Times which was wunderbar!!

In March 2010 the delightful mediocre mum bestowed me with

the You Made Me Spit My Drink All Over my Keyboard award for this

funny wee tale about The Flying Brazilian.

Thank you all for your encouragement. Writing of any kind, and especially blogging, can be very lonely and sometimes dispiriting. It’s wonderful feeling the love!
