What Do We Blog About?
Vegemitevix is a lifestyle blog that covers an eclectic range of subjects all from the perspective of a forty something expat Kiwi Mum who moved her family across the world to set up home with a scrumptious Englishman she met in Paris. We write about most things but especially about -
- Expat life
- Parenting teenagers
- Second-marriage (and step-parenting)
- Good books, fine wine, music, film and theatre
Please note that my kids are now tweenies and teens and are not generally interested in baby bottles, nappies, fairy days out or prams. I’m not much of a housewife either so please don’t ask me to review vacuum cleaners, dish cloths, or other housewifey stuff. I may review it, you might not like what I’ll write.
On the other hand feel free to pitch ideas for travel, holidays, cars, technology, or other things a 40-something global citizen might like.
Bear in mind that Vegemitevix has a number of loyal male readers – typically 35+ years old who do not enjoy reading about women’s products or women’s incontinence pads.
Vegemitevix started in 2009 and by 2010 had acheived considerable traction with a strong community of readers who frequently commented and retweeted blog post links. For further information about some of the awards Vegemitevix has received please read In The News
