Camera, action, laugh

The Vegemitevix ‘puppy’, nine year old chocolate Labrador, Bailey has really slowed down in recent years, so when Pedigree asked if we’d like her to trial their Joint Care sticks, we thought ‘why not’? It certainly couldn’t do her any harm. And I couldn’t help feeling sad that despite living a whisker from the woods and the English countryside Bailey was often too lethargic to go out and play.

What’s more the Jointcare sticks had a Green lipped Mussel extract which I knew from NZ days had been seen to be good for improving joint strength and flexibility! So we gave it a go. It was a fun trial, even though we were all a bit too busy to really post pics of her progress but she really did enjoy her morning treat.

And then in about week five of the trial, I asked the kids to take her out to the paddock nearby and see if she’d play again. Son (18) took charge of the camera, and Dark Princess took charge of the pooch and off they went. What happened next deserves to be on one of those Funny Animal Blooper programmes.

You could say Bailey has rediscovered her pep. I’ve finally stopped laughing.

And Son has finally recovered from his first attempt at video shooting!

Disclaimer: Bailey participated in the Pedigree JointCare+ trial but all opinions above are our own.No teenagers were hurt in the making of this video.

Can humans eat these sticks too?

Actually you can take the green lipped mussel extract but not in these sticks. They’re special for dogs only. x

Ha ha ha. Can’t believe he let the dog charge into him. What are teenagers like? But the dog looks like the sticks have been great for the joints. Where to get some, and yes, as Steve says, can we eat them?

Thanks Jen! She is a very cute pooch and flew all the way from NZ with us to England four years ago. Amazing eh?
