This one didn’t take much thought, which is good as it’s 11pm and I’m almost out of thoughts. I’m running on brain mush at the moment. This is the best part of my day, when I can finally lie down with my head on my pillow or on my Englishman’s shoulder and snooze down the road to sleep.
I try to make our bedroom a restful place, with quiet lighting and the vibrant warmth of my favourite NZ Mohair throw rug. I could spend decades here. A cup of coffee on the bedside table. Something to read on my Kindle on my phone and strong gentle arms around me.
Perfect.
