Coffee reduces depression. Yipee!

The very best news has just been released. Did you hear the results of a study into depression in women? Apparently if women drink more than two cups of coffee per day their risk of suffering from depression is reduced by 15%!

As I drink on average about 4 cups of very strong coffee per day, (and I suffer from depression) this is fabulous news! So this particular addiction of mine is warranted!

I could not be happier! Of course the study goes on to fudge its findings saying that it’s not a causal like but more an association, blah blah blah. But the message is out!

Coffee rocks!

And nowhere more so than in London at the moment, where numerous Antipodean cafes have opened and have started to fuel Londoners with real java hits.  Last night I attended an event with the New Zealand Business Women’s Network (in London) which was inspirational and uplifting and hosted in the fabulous The Modern Pantry in St John’s Square.

The Modern Pantry, run by Kiwi Anna Hansen has wowed Londoners with its food and coffee for some years now and last night’s event was no exception. With a room full of flat vowelled Kiwi accents and great food and coffee this little Vegemite certainly felt she had died and gone to heaven.
